Our Fitness Instructors
Pam Andrews has a passion for fitness, nutrition and family wellness. She is the owner of Shake It! Fitness Studio LLC in Bear, Delaware. She is a licensed Zumba® Fitness instructor with specialties in Zumba® Toning, Zumba Gold and ZumbAtomic (Zumba® for Kids) since June 2009. In August 2009, she started teaching Zumba fitness classes several times a week as Zumba With Pam in Delaware. She is a certified PiYo instructor and is one of the first Hot Hula Fitness ® instructors in Delaware. She is a member of the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and has earned her AFAA Group Exercise Certification. This demonstrates her commitment to professionalism, personal development and safety in exercise and fitness. Pam is certified through NESTA as a Lifestyle Weight Management Coach. She is also American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid Certified. In 2011, she created her own fitness program, Belly Funk Fitness which is a fusion of belly dance moves to R&B, soul and funk music. Rachael Bowerson is a licensed Zumba instructor with a specialty in Zumba Toning. She is also a member of the Zumba Instructor Network. She has been teaching since June of 2011. Inspiring her students to express themselves is one of her passions. When it comes to teaching Zumba, Rachael takes inspiration from Beto Perez, the creator of Zumba, when she choreographs her own moves. Rachel lived in Middletown, Delaware most of her life which is where she met her fiancé Matt. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to her family vacation home and playing with her dog, Chase.
Cynthia Brown is a licensed Hot Hula Fitness ® instructor and is excited about the opportunity to teach Hot Hula Fitness because it allows her to inspire and motivate other women who struggle with health and fitness to achieve optimal health. As a wife, mother, and student, she understands the struggle of taking the time to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Cynthia is a RN, FCN (Faith Community Nurse). She is also a member of the Interdenominational Ministers Action Council (IMAC) where she serves on the health committee. Cynthia believes that for one to be fit they must be healthy in mind, body and spirit. She is a member of the Delaware Medical Reserve Corp and Citizen Emergency Response Team. Cynthia is also American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certified. Cynthia believes that Hot Hula fitness is fun and simple enough that students at any fitness level can not only participate, but get an effective cardio vascular and core workout as well.
Lea Janelle is a licensed Hot Hula Fitness ® instructor. She is thrilled to share Hot Hula Fitness which celebrates the fusion of cultures and the entire body—the way it looks and naturally moves. A native New Yorker, from the “boogie down Bronx”, Lea has a passion for the arts and all forms of creative expression. Hot Hula Fitness ® builds upon her early foundation in performance arts which includes singing classical and gospel music and participating in musical theatre. As a busy career and leadership development professional, she finds balance in her free time by participating in her favorite hobbies, interior decorating and jewelry designing. Having recently lost 40 pounds through nutritional changes and consistent workouts, her goal is to encourage women of all ages and sizes to embrace the beauty of their bodies and to pursue fitness of the mind, body and soul. She firmly believes this is possible if we commit to ourselves and just dare to move, one beat at a time. Her sincere goal is to inspire you to do just that!
Since Erin Grieco was a little girl, she has always been interested in dance. She enjoys learning and watching the different styles. Recently, she hit a low point in her life, and realized that changes needed to be made. After reaching an unhealthy weight, and having no energy or will to do anything active, she sought the help of a personal trainer/nutritionist who taught her how to make healthy eating choices and put her on a workout regimen that worked with her daily life. She has lost over 30 pounds and is healthier than she has ever been. She began taking Zumba classes and later discovered Hot Hula Fitness. As one of the original Hot Hula fitness instructors in Delaware, it is Erin’s goal to inspire others to improve their health through exercise and nutrition.
