Khloe Kardashian’s trainer approved workout will blast stubborn fat away

Getting fit and losing weight isn’t usually an area of life where luck comes into play.

Unless, that is, you’re working out with Gunnar Peterson.

The trainer whose Beverly Hills gym is a mecca for Hollywood A-listers is renowned for doing things a little differently – a toilet sits in the middle of his gym, so when someone complains they can’t do squats, he can prove them otherwise!

Now he’s joined the team from Chris Hemsworth’s health and fitness app Centr to help women lose weight and fast-track results with his 4-week program Gunnar X Centr.

It’s a mix of HIIT/HIRT and cardio designed for all levels and anyone who has hit a plateau in their fitness journey. And because it’s Gunnar, it’s just a little different.

In this full-body workout from Gunnar X Centr, you could come out a Queen or a Joker – it’s luck of the draw!

The only equipment you’ll need is a deck of cards. Pull a card: if it’s the 7 of hearts, that’s how many reps of each exercise you’ll do. Pull a second card: that’s how many rounds you’ll do. A picture card is 10 and an Ace is 11. Good luck!

Finish your workout with 20 minutes of steady-state cardio (eg. walking, running, rowing, cycling).

Stand with your feet hip-width apart, bring your hands down to the ground then jump both feet back so your body is in a push-up or plank position.

Then jump your feet back in toward your hands and stand up out of the squat position. This is one rep.

The movement should be as quick or explosive as you can make it and your core should remain activated when jumping your feet back.

Lying face down on the floor, extend your arms and legs out, brace through your core and raise everything off the ground – your arms, chest if you can, feet and legs.

Reach forward and upwards before lowering back down to the ground. Picture yourself as a superhero taking off!

Split Squats

Reps: pull a card

Rounds: pull a card

Take a long step backwards with the right leg, feeling a stretch through the right hip flexor and quad.

Bend your left leg at the knee and lower your body straight down towards the ground.

Come back up to the top and repeat, alternating sides.
